My name is David LaBruyere, nickname Dela. I was born in New Orleans, LA. on June 20, 1969. I began musical instruction on violin using Suzuki Method at age 3 and continued taking instruction on various instruments throughout childhood. The electric bass guitar became my primary instrument at age 16. Since that time I've had the privilege of recording and performing with many great artists including Shawn Mullins, John Mayer, Sara Evans, Sugarland, David Wilcox, Howard Tate, Buddy Guy, Hubert Sumlin, Eric Clapton, Elton John, Zak Morgan and too many to list here. I've been fortunate, to say the least. I met Ben Holst on a session in Atlanta a few years back and we became fast friends. Once Ben started talking about forming Tunewelder Music Group, I voiced my support and eagerness to participate. David LaBruyere
